Hey Jeremy! Yeah, I actually have had luck with the screen protectors from eForCity, which I buy on eBay. For $2, shipped, I got 6 of them the other day. They will fit without any modification, but it can become a huge headache doing it that way, so I just use an x-acto knife and slice a tiny sliver off of each long side. Basically, the smallest amount you can successfully shave off should do the trick and still protect the screen. Good luck!

Hey Ed. I also own the CaseCrown for my iPhone 3Gs and agree it's great. My only complaint is the difficulty of adding a screen protector. Have you figured out anything?

Yes, I'd say it should be completely original. There are certain cases where they seem to allow satire, but I'd say the community there can be very reserved in what they would allow to be labeled as an acceptable satire.

However, just because you can't draw doesn't mean you can't make a decent tshirt design. A lot of silkscreening was born out of photographic reproductions in limited colors - use some of your photos, or take some new ones, and combine them in photoshop. Learn about channels and color separations and you'll be good to go. With a decent idea and a creative eye, I'm sure you can do something cool with a camera and a computer. A good starting book is Print Liberation: The Screen Printing Primer - I have yet to purchase this book, but it's a fantastic resource of history, how-to's, and even some sample screens to use to get you going. Check it out at amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Print-Liberation-Screen-Printing-Primer/dp/1600610722/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1243979735&sr=1-4 or go directly to their site here: http://printliberation.com/

I have kept ImageReady 2 on my computer for just this reason - the droplets. I'm not sure why they wouldn't take the same functionality and put it in fireworks... I can see where it would go on the interface. I'm just hoping that they will resurrect Debabalizer 1.6.5. Tell me if you find any good workarounds.

Yeah, photoshop's save for web is OK, but for some reason it still doesn't crunch the files nearly as much as ImageRead/Fireworks - and especially with the same quality. When I first started in webdesign I wondered why they packaged the programs together, but after college and really focusing on process and optimization I found that the reason is performance - ImageReady and Fireworks will beat Photoshop's built-in optimization any day. Give it a try, you'll probably be impressed - plus, Fireworks is just a pleasure to use in terms of interface and ultimately, increasing your productivity.

I never compared the exporting of the two. Have you noticed a difference between the jpg compression in Fireworks and Photoshop's save-for-web? I'd imagine Photoshop is using whatever compression algorithm ImageReady used, but who knows?

Absurd. And you really hit the nail on the head about the impression the logo leaves -- if Kraft is anything, it's not light and flowery.
